Our base for the first five nights of the Lake District trip was the Kendal Caravan and Motorhome Club site at Sedgwick, just south of Kendal.

There were plenty of walks straight from the campsite: the River Kent rushing past, a little waterfall tucked away in the woods, and a dunnock who stopped by to say hello. From here we also walked into Kendal along the Lancaster Canal and visited Sizergh 🩶🤍
